I am head of the Real Estate practice at Davidson Chalmers Stewart. I have spent considerable time in both private practice and as in-house counsel for a major energy company.
My broad range of experience in all aspects of real estate transactions encompasses acquisitions and disposals, corporate support, real estate finance, portfolio management (across a variety of sectors) and cross border transactions, alongside advising on property and financing of renewable energy projects for onshore, offshore and hydro schemes.
My background in private practice and as in-house counsel has enhanced my commercial awareness of the property market and given me a key appreciation of the role of a legal adviser and needs of clients, resulting in my solution-driven approach. A keen understanding of corporate governance and regulatory matters translates into my advice and tailored means of delivery to those I am is working with.
Outside of Davidson Chalmers Stewart, I am kept on my toes by my young family and enjoy spending quality time with them on the west coast of Scotland.
