Jane Dickers

I joined Davidson Chalmers Stewart as a Director in our Dispute Resolution team in January 2023 and am now a Partner at the firm. Prior to my time at Davidson Chalmers Stewart, I spent eight years as partner and Head of Litigation at a successful high street practice in the North-East of Scotland.

I have managed a diverse portfolio of civil, criminal and family cases in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland, in the High Court of Justiciary and in the Court of Session.  I am a highly experienced and respected Court practitioner, with an exemplary reputation for my advocacy and case management skills.

I bring significant commercial acumen, along with a wealth of life and business experience to my legal work. Before qualifying as a Scottish solicitor in 2011, I enjoyed a highly successful career as a board level strategic communications consultant to some of the country’s leading commercial property, financial and professional service organisations.

I have a strong reputation for my forthright, but pragmatic approach to dispute resolution and am a warm and approachable lawyer with a wholly unique skill set.

I am a solicitor member of the Public Policy Committee and the Civil Justice Committee of the Law Society of Scotland.  I am also a member of the Property Litigation Association.
