Davidson Chalmers is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Melrose Sevens VETS tournament for the seventh consecutive year.
Since its launch in 2008, the VETS tournament has opened the Melrose Sevens weekend, one of the UK’s biggest annual celebrations of rugby. Veterans’ events are now established as an integral part of social rugby and enjoyed nowhere more enthusiastically than in Melrose, the international home of rugby sevens.
Our long and proud track record in supporting local rugby along with a range of other events and activities in the Borders has culminated in the opening of a new office in Galashiels which further underlines Davidson Chalmers’ commitment to the area.
In February 2016 Davidson Chalmers opened a new office in the Scottish Borders within the Galashiels Interchange. Davidson Chalmers’ new office will act as a regional hub for the firm, which initially began operating in Edinburgh in 1993 and has since grown in size to 46 staff including 11 partners. Borders-based businesses operating within a range of sectors including renewable energy, food and drink, hospitality and healthcare account for a sizeable proportion of its UK-wide client base. In a market dominated by a handful of very large firms, Davidson Chalmers offers a truly client focused service specialising in renewable energy, healthcare and family businesses. With teams of highly experienced lawyers the firm delivers a full range of pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across a number of key sectors.
