I have over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance and broking, latterly with Brewin Dolphin, providing board level strategic, equity financing, project management, corporate governance and regulatory advice to a wide range of UK and international companies mainly on the Official List and AIM. I have been a member of the London Stock Exchange’s AIM Advisory Group since its formation in 1997 (as well as its Chairman for three years) and am a member of the AIM Disciplinary Committee.
I joined Kergan Stewart, now Davidson Chalmers Stewart, in 2012. I am also a non executive director of BMO Private Equity Trust plc, Octopus AIM VCT 2 plc, Sofant Technologies Limited, the Beatson Cancer Charity and the Merchants House of Glasgow and am an active business angel investor.
I am also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute.
I love to travel, especially to unusual places around the world. Closer to home, I enjoy hillwalking and have managed to climb all of the 283 Scottish Munros and over 200 of the Corbetts.
